CBD this. CBD that. But what am I buying!?!? In the CBD market, there are many different types of CBD. There is Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and CBD Isolates. But what does all of this mean? That is what we will be going over in a very simple easy to understand way. We will explain the different between these terms and what to look out for on the shelves!
What is CBD Isolate?
CBD Isolate is a pure, crystalline powder that contains 99% pure CBD. CBD isolate contains ONLY the cannabinoid CBD. All other cannabinoids are removed. This means that the finished product will of ZERO THC. A CBD Isolate is great for anyone who is sensitive to THC or can’t have THC possibly show up on a drug test.
CBD Isolates are sold in many different forms. As oils, sweeteners, and more.
What is Broad Spectrum?
Broad Spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids in the hemp plant except THC. Broad Spectrum gives more benefit than a CBD Isolate because you are receiving more than just one Cannabinoid. You are getting more terpenes and cannabinoids that have a lot of different benefits that help the human body.
What is Full Spectrum?
Full Spectrum is the most powerful/beneficial type of CBD. Full Spectrum contains all of the terpenes and cannabinoids found in the hemp plant including THC. (Legally, all Full Spectrum products must contain below .3% of THC.) Full Spectrum CBD will not get you high but will give you all of the benefits that you want out of the hemp plant. The best way to relate it, is would you want a warrior fighting for your benefits (CBD Isolate) or an experienced army of warriors fighting for you (Full Spectrum). Most would pick the army, and we at Proverde Health agree. Full spectrum is the most powerful type of CBD because it creates something called the “Entourage effect.” The “Entourage Effect” is when the entire spectrum of the hemp create a synergistic effect that is more beneficial than only taking a single molecule compound.
Conclusion/Things to keep in mind:
When it comes to buying yourself CBD, know what type you want. Maybe you do have to worry about THC popping up on a drug test. Than maybe using a broad spectrum product could be better for you, or you can use a full spectrum product topically. Here at Proverde Health, we truly believe in the power of the full spectrum product. The benefits are much more noticable and we have only heard positive things regarding pain, stress, inflammation, anxiety and many more cases.
Another thing to keep in mind. CHECK FOR LAB RESULTS. Hold these CBD companies accountable! Is the CBD company you are using meeting label claim? There is a difference between meeting “Max Active CBD” and “Max Active Cannabinoids.” Educate yourself and find out if you are actually paying for what you deserve.
